1. On July 2nd, Greater Memphis branch members went to The Gardens of Germantown to perform for the residents in the nursing home. Seven of our young musicians played the trombone, violin, flute, and piano. It was to provide entertainment while also being a service to the community. Each volunteer contributed one hour of service.

2.The Extravaganza is an event that takes place on July 4th. Members’ duties included monitoring bounce houses, games, and activities, as well as facilitating arts and crafts.

3. On July 12th, the Greater Memphis Branch volunteers from the Greater Memphis Branch packaged food, drinks, and diapers for the local food bank. They also assisted with checking the quality of the food during the distribution process. The packaged goods and items were then distributed to those in need.

4.Annette Chen, Elliot Chen, and Yuqi Chen spent 5 hours at the Family Reunion doing various activities. During 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM, they set up tables and chairs. For the rest of the event, they served food for the people.

5. On June 17th, we helped Chinese Community Dragon Festival to set up a stand to sell lemonade to raise money. Some bigger kids helped them to hang up lantern and banner and take down. Lots of Volunteers participated.
