On July 24th, 2023, members of the AYLUS Frisco & Plano branch hosted another Zoom meeting to teach seniors better English. This is in hopes that they will be able to communicate better in the real world as they participate in daily activities. The way we went about teaching was to first have the seniors listen to a recording of the conversation bit by bit. Then, after each sentence we would explain the meaning behind the words/phrases and clarify any confusion. We are so very thankful for all the volunteers that went out of their way to teach a new language as it takes both time and patience. We are ecstatic with the results of these meetings and hope to host more in the future!
