The AYLUS San Diego Branch, in collaboration with the Canyon Crest Academy’s Machine Learning and Data Science Club, organized a virtual Machine Learning Workshop for local students from grades 8 to 12. This workshop took place every Saturday morning, providing a consistent learning experience for a duration of 1.5 hours each day. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Python programming, data science, and machine learning.
The primary objective of the Machine Learning Workshop was to equip young learners with the knowledge and skills required to understand and explore the exciting field of machine learning. By focusing on the fundamentals of Python programming, data science concepts, and machine learning algorithms, the workshop sought to demystify this rapidly growing field and inspire students to pursue further studies or careers in the domain.
Throughout the workshop, the dedicated members of the Canyon Crest Academy’s Machine Learning and Data Science Club served as instructors, sharing their expertise and passion for machine learning with the participants. The workshop curriculum was carefully designed to cater to students with varying levels of experience, ensuring that everyone could benefit from the program.
The fifth workshop focused on Machine Learning Techniques: Classification. Students can also join a google classroom to access the presentation and homework after the class.
