Orange Branch Cleans Up Woodmont Beach on July 17, 2023

Reported by: Monica Chen

On July 17, 2023, the Orange Branch cleaned up Woodmont Beach. The beach had various types of litter along the shore and in the area, and we cleaned up everything that we could. The beach was left much cleaner as a result of our cleanup.

By removing litter and debris from the shoreline, we prevent pollution from entering the ocean. This preserves ocean ecosystems and protects marine life. Moreover, our dedication also improves the overall aesthetics of the beach. This makes the experience better for visitors, and also inspires others to be more environmentally conscious. Taking part in preserving the natural beauty of the beach showed us the significant impact small actions can have on the world around us.
