Julia worked a shift at the Southwest Oklahoma City Pioneer Library from 9-12. She assisted with the Kick-Start Kindergarten event, aimed to prepare children ages 4-5 for kindergarten. She helped create a book display of early readers for the families to check out, passed out supplies, and assisted the instructor in demonstrating the songs in order to encourage participation from the children. Finally, she was responsible for putting away the chairs and tables after the event ended.
