Reported by Jessica Lu :
On May 27th, Murrieta AYLUS members went to STAT Horse Sanctuary to help out. When Members arrived, they signed in and immediately started by getting wheelbarrows and rakes and heading into the horse stalls to clean them. Due to a good amount of members participating that day, they finished cleaning all the stalls in no time. When members finished, they moved on to cleaning the small animal pens by raking out the dirty piles of hay and dirt. When the task was completed, members grabbed some fan rakes to rake up all the leaves that fell in the clearing. There was a great deal of leaves everywhere, so it took a couple of rounds of taking out the wheelbarrows to dump the leaves and bringing them back to start a new barrow. That ended the members’ visit and they looked around the ranch feeling a sense of satisfaction to see it cleaned up and looking pristine.
