Our customers love the handmade gemstone bracelets during the fundraising events. We had very limited stock and some of the colors were sold out. On May 27th 2023, we met at a community club house and made more than 20 bracelets using the loose gemstone necklace for our next fundraising event. Our sponsor Ny6designs Beads and Supplies provided us with some popular colors of gemstone necklace. We were able to make 4-5 bracelets from each necklace using elastic cord. In this way we could potentially reduce our cost by 50%. Since each gemstone is very small it took us pretty long time to make a bracelet. For next fundraising , we would have more colors choices of gemstone bracelets and hopefully generate more profit towards our African Libraries’ shipping expense. Everyone was looking forward to it.
