On Saturday, May 20, 2023, 3 AYLUS members volunteered at the Blake Service Day event with Appetite for Change in Minneapolis, MN to distribute seeds and plants to the needy. AYLUS participated in the second shift of the event from 12-3 PM, totaling 3 hours of service, and helped organize different types of tomato seeds so those visiting the distribution event would have an easier time finding what they wanted. This event was a lot of fun and gave us a unique experience of connecting with both our school and our local community by interacting with other volunteers and seeing the gratitude of the visitors for our work.
