Bellaire helped prepare the 28th Annual Twilight Gala at Nature Discovery Center on April 7, 2023

The Nature Discovery Center is a local nature park dedicated to preserving local wildlife and leading educational programs that ignite an appreciation for nature among all ages.
On Friday, April 7, 2023, the AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at the Nature Discovery Center from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM to help prepare for the 28th Annual Twilight Gala (April 14).
The Twilight Gala is a benefit event for the Nature Discovery Center held in honor of its staff and their loved ones for the work they do for the community.
Volunteers helped clean up the front area of the park, clearing weeds from the front entrance brick path and clipping away any branches that hung over the path. Seven volunteers split up into two groups to work from both ends of the path, finishing up in the middle of the path.
Volunteers were able to finish clearing the whole path by 12:00 PM before it started raining.
The following volunteers participated in this event (2 hours): Alexander Tang, Jason Deng, Megan Wang, Isabel Li, Christopher Dai, Jason Chen, Raymond Han.
