On January 27th 2023, AYLUS Bridgewater brought a few people out to purchase supplies needed for a local food bank.
Volunteers found a list of items that were in need and set out to use money obtained through charity sale fund raising to buy these items and bring them to where they would be needed.
As some items were available in the right quantities in some places but not others, we ended up having to make a trip first to Costco and then the Shoprite in order to gather the items.
Through this experience, volunteers were able to see just what kind of items that people were lacking, and personally take some time out of their day to team build and help people at the same time.
