On January 15, Aylus East Cobb Branch members Kaisen Li, Kaila Li and Jerry Xu visited the Sunrise Senior Center from 1:30pm to 3:30pm to play board games with the seniors. The seniors greeted them warmly and everyone enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition and camaraderie. Kaisen, Kaila and Jerry took the time to get to know the seniors, learning about their backgrounds and life experiences. The games were filled with laughter and cheers, and the AYLUS members were impressed by the seniors’ sharp wit and strategic thinking. The experience was about building meaningful relationships and bridging the gap between generations. Kaisen and Jerry left the Sunrise Senior Center feeling uplifted and eager to continue making a positive impact in their community.
