On 1/29 from 1:30-5:00, Great Neck Branch held its second volunteering event with Roslyn Branch at Great Neck South High School. We assisted the teacher in organizing the classroom and answering the students’ questions. We practiced kindness and respect towards the teacher and students. Through today’s experience, we built our communication and leadership skills. Communicating with elementary students is different from communicating with our peers. We need more patience to wait for the students to process the learning materials. Everything we do is for the students to improve and have fun during their learning process.
