West Essex AYLUS December 2022 Food Drive for Livingston CHOW Food Pantry 12/30/22

West Essex AYLUS organized a food drive in December 2002 to support Livingston CHOW Food Pantry. The CHOW food pantry is managed by Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors (LNHN) providing families with the essentials they need to help ease their burden. Anything unexpired is accepted and welcomed, from children’s snacks, to detergent. LNHN also shares excessive food donations with other food pantries and shelters based in Newark including St. John’s, St. Ann’s, and St. Michael’s.

Founded in 2016, Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors (LNHN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an affiliate of Livingston’s Healthy Community, Healthy Youth (HCHY). LNHN, which is volunteer run, relies solely on the generosity of our community, enabling us to create a safety net for residents in need and give hope to our neighbors who are struggling.

West Essex members delivered collected items on 12/30.

Members participated in the food drive: Jasmine Chen, Victoria Chen, Joselyn Kwan, Kaylen Lee and Sophia Zheng. (2 hours each)
