On Saturday, December 17th,2022 six members of the AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at Ed White Elementary School from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
The volunteers tutored 3rd-5th grade students in math and reading, helping the students improve multiplication and division, teaching them strategies for quick calculation, and working on students’ vocabulary.
The members who attended this event were (total 4 hours including 3 hours of tutoring and 1 hour of commute): Alexander Tang, Dylan Wang, Ellen Dai, Feifan Liu, Katherine Guo, and Joshua Cheng.
