AYLUS Puget Sound Completion of 2022 Calculus 1 Course (April 2022)

Over the month of April, members of AYLUS Puget Sound completed 2022 Calculus 1 Course, holding weekly classes without a single break! The final class was held on April 30, 2022, and follow-up class material such as recordings and homework were wrapped up also on that day. The course aimed to cover topics of differential calculus, and we were able to discuss all the content as according to schedule!

Our 2022 Calculus Course is taught by Sarah Xuan and Sophie Xuan. The instructors team up to prepare content explanations, compile example questions, and write up homework worksheets and homework solutions for students. In the past month, we aimed to discuss major topics in derivatives and differentiation and their subsequent applications. Some subtopics that we have covered include implicit differentiation, derivatives of inverse functions, equation of tangent line, higher order derivatives, Taylor and Maclaurin Series, curve analysis, kinematics, optimization problems, related rates, and approximations.
