On March 12, 2022, members of AYLUS Puget Sound held the first class of the 2022 Calculus 1 Class! This is the second content based course we have opened, and of course, the first discussing calculus and higher level math. As of now, the first month of classes has ended, and this course overall is scheduled to run until end April.
Our 2022 Calculus Course is taught by Sarah Xuan and Sophie Xuan. The instructors team up to prepare content explanations, compile example questions, and write up homework worksheets and homework solutions for students. In the past month, we have covered the topics of limits and continuity, and are moving into discussing derivatives and differentials.
We have approximately 10-20 students who attend our course, mainly from the 8th-10th grade. We will be continuing with the second month of classes when entering April!
