On February 20, 2022, members of the Puget Sound Branch hosted the Ask Us: SAT Event.
This one-day event was a seminar-styled presentation and Q&A where members of the Puget Sound Branch, Kelly Cai, Sarah Xuan, and Sophie Xuan, and invited guests presented on the IB Diploma Program. Presenters were all students from Skyline High School enrolled in the IB Diploma program. Presenters explained the basics of the IB program and IB Diploma, gave overviews of the IB classes offered at Skyline, offered sample plans for courses leading up to and in the IB Diploma program, and discussed general tips regarding the Diploma program. The slides deck was also assembled by the presenters. In response to many questions, we had presenters share several of their own experiences regarding classes, IB Diploma lifestyle, and pros and cons of IB Diploma and our recommendations.
We had around 70 participants (not including presenters) who attended our event. To the panelists and participants, we thank you so much for your contribution to making this event run so well!
