East Cobb Branch Started Missing Maps Project in Jan 2022

Missing maps is a humanitarian project who preemptively maps parts of the world that are vulnerable to natural disasters, conflicts, and disease epidemics. The map data can be used by emergency services around the world where this data isn’t available.

Using satellite images AYLUS members participated in mapping projects such as those in Madagascar to provide map data to small local communities by marking locations of roads and buildings using satellite images.
