Phoenix AYLUS Transcribes Historical Documents November 2021

Phoenix AYLUS continues to transcribe historical documents this month. Volunteers transcribed a total of 12 documents.

Jiyu Wang transcribed 6 documents: AEDEPOT, Volume 1 pg 40, 42, 43, 49, and 53.

Amy Xie transcribed 6 documents: AERODYNAMIC 05: DEVELOPMENT AND PLANS, Volume 5 pg 1 and pg 2, OBOPUS/BGFIEND, Volume 17 and volume 14, AERODYNAMIC 40: OPERATIONS, Volume 40, and QKDROOP. 

“This document talks about money. Like in robberies, salaries, and budget.”

“This document talks about the increase of salary for workers.”

“In this document, a man has to sign a declaration/pledge. If he violates it he will be deported out of the country.”

“The authors want to meet in Ukraine in this text.”

“This document is a collection of backup stories for a mission called Valuable.”

“In this document people are trying to do a proposal with objectives.”

“In total, these transcriptions took me about 2 hours to do. Some of them were hard to read and understand what the context was about. Overall the process was interesting but a bit time-consuming.”
