Chapel Hill Branch Volunteered at Kidzu Tuck In The Garden Party on Nov 19, 2021

On November 19, 2021, Chapel Hill Branch hosted a Kidzu Tuck in the Garden Party. Members gathered at the Kidzu Children’s Museum at 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill, at 4:30 pm to set up and get the party ready for our guests. We were all deployed at one of the following stations: check-in, composting, compost tea, hot cocoa, robots, nest craft, lanterns, or pine cones & wreaths(nature crafts). The event lasted from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with shifts alternating every 30 minutes. We were delighted to have so many participants take interest in the activities. This was a great opportunity for us to get more in touch with the younger community of our town, and we’d like to thank Kidzu Children’s Museum for providing us with this opportunity to cooperate with them.

Participants: Nicholas Wang (2 hours), Carolyn Shi (2 hours), Kevin Chen (2 hours), Luna Chen (2 hours), Jack Xu (2 hours), Joshua Yoon (2 hours), Stella Kim (2 hours), Aneesh Patkar (2 hours), Kathryne Hong (2 hours), Christopher Wu  (2 hours), Andrew Xu (2 hours), Michelle Lan (2 hours)
