On 11/11/21, AYLUS Manhasset participates in a Veteran’s day memorial to honor veterans who have fought for our country and to pay respects.
There was a one hour orientation where veterans would be honored through a singing of the national anthem and a speech to talk about their importance and what they have done for the country. As the suicide rates are high for veterans, it is important to support them and help them whenever needed due to their contribution and work.
The members who participated were Loretta Liu (2 hr), Matthew Yang (1.5 hr), Benjamin Yang (1.5 hr)
