Our Chapel Hill Branch adopted the Dry Creek Trial from our local Town Park and Recreation Department in 2021-2022 school year. On October 16th, 2021, our team completed the first monthly spotter & catcher sweep. The event lasted from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Our team split up into two smaller groups to cover the entire trail. After two hours of working, we were able to collect several bags of trash and help clean our local environment.
The volunteers that participated in this event were: Kevin Chen (2 hours), Luna Chen (2 hours), Andrew Xu (2 hours), Michelle Lan (2 hours), Alyssa Yuan (2 hours ), Jack Xu (2 hours), Richard Li/Yicheng Li (2 hours), Andrew Ye (2 hours), and Kathryne Hong(2 hours).
