On September 26, 2021, the AYLUS branch of San Fernando Valley spent an hour and fifteen minutes from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM picking up trash and garbage to improve the quality of the local environment as a way to give thanks to the community. The participants – Jason Xie, Aaron Hekmatjah, and Oren Hekmatjah – worked together to help clean the community park. Our team planned and organized this event through meetings over social media and worked with others throughout the event.
All in all, the branch picked up three industrial-sized garbage bags of trash! Great job everyone!
