AYLUS Saratoga Held a Cleanup at Montara State Beach (6/27/2021)

        On the morning of Sunday, June 27, 2021, members of the Saratoga AYLUS branch volunteered at Montara State Beach. Our goals were finding a way to help the environment and spreading awareness. Walking along the shore and nearby parking areas, volunteers collected around 6 bags’ worth of trash, including things from plastic cans to cigarettes to straws. At the end of the event, the collected items were disposed of safely. 

Participants (3 hours for all): Charlotte Shi, Angella Zhao, Justin Shen, Hualiang Shi, Chloe Shen, Amy Zhao, Lilah Monserrat, Angel Shi, Tiantian Hu, Zuoming Zhao, Janet Feng, Tasha Monserrat, Shenjian, Doudou Wang + Jeff Wang (showed up 45 mins into the event)
