On April 16, 2021, AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita Branch participated in a water bottle/can drive as well as elections for the upcoming year.
The drive consisted of members bringing water bottles and other recyclables to the meeting in order to be donated by President, Katie Zhou. Katie then drove the bottles to the donation center and donated them.
In accordance with the election, A new board was elected for the remainder of 2021 and into the future. The current president, Katie Zhou is a graduating senior from her local high school and has decided to pass on her duties to the next leadership board after her graduation. Through a series of speeches, questions, and voting, the new board was voted. The new president is Allison Li, vice president Diana Zhou, and secretary Jane Chen. The new board is beyond excited to bring the club into the far future, and a fresh start for the upcoming year. An additional congratulations to Katie, and well wishes to her as she pursues a higher education at the University of California Berkeley.
