AYLUS Snoqualmie Helps Peacekeeper Society Distribute Food to Locals

On 1/30/2021, leaders at AYLUS Snoqualmie were given the great opportunity of working with the Snoqualmie Peacekeeper Society and Snoqualmie tribal council to collectively pack and distribute food to the local community of Snoqualmie. The Snoqualmie Peacekeeper Society and Snoqualmie tribal council made this a memorable experience by sharing a song from their culture and brought us to participate in an inspirational tribal meeting and thoughtful prayer.

From 10 AM- 1 PM, we were able to fill boxes with food and other items such as warm socks, hand sanitizer, and masks in preparation to hand out to the community.

From 1 PM-2 PM, we were able to give families who came through our location boxes of supplies contact free. We served over 200 families!

Total hours of volunteer of all members present: 12 hours
