Our 8th unit is from 11/1/2020 to 11/30/2020, the Sugar Land Branch Junior Support Program, led by Branch’s junior leader Alvin Zhou has continued to offer free lessons to Pre-K kids. We started new science class this week. This class based on the widely used science book at Elemantary schools in Texas, the Science class had been designed for kids from Pre-k to 1st grade. There will be 10 units, including How scientists work, Technology around us, Matter, Forces and Energy, Earth’s Resources, Weather and Seasons, Objects in the Sky, Living Things and Their Environments, Animals and Plants. Thanks for the growth of teacher team, so we can do 3 lessons each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday now.
On 2nd week of 8th unit from 11/8 to 11/14, Alvin organized meetings and taught Review of lessons 2 on 11/11, meanwhile Zarina and Nathan joined as presenters. Lesson 1 had been taught by Zarina on 11/9, Lesson 3 had been taught by Nathan on 11/13.
