To respond to the surge in demand for electronic learning, the New York Branch launched a program on October 1, 2020, with the aim to provide free education to elementary and middle school children. Our new initiative consists of 42 groups with one volunteer and three to four children per group. We are grateful for the support of California’s Irvine branch for their support in this program and encourage cooperation with other branches in the future. We currently teach reading comprehension, math, vocabulary, history, science, Chinese, and more from kindergarteners to sixth graders.
