On July 31, 2020, as summer draws to a close, volunteers from the Irvine Branch of AYLUS hosted its final online AMC 8 prep class for the season. Students wanting to improving on the AMC 8 competition joined for a very fun and engaging class through Zoom.
Today, we were able to cover many problems that varied among the topics of probability, algebra, counting, geometry, and more. The students had a blast solving the problems and explaining their unique solutions to the rest of the class. We also continued to have office hours where students energetically asked questions. All in all, it went really well!
