Gladstone Branch Holepunched 1500 Faceshields for Navajo Nation

From July 13th to 18th, the Gladstone Branch holepunched face shields. They partnered up with SOMA NJ’s leader Zubin Kremer Guha who sent 1500 shields to the branch for holepunching. He also provided 1-inch spacers. After all the shields were holepunched, the shields were attached onto various 3D printed material to be turned into usable masks. In the end, they were donated to Navajo Nation, a Native American reservation in Arizona where 4% of its residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Seven members of the branch (Duc Nguyen, Travis Xue, Owen Luo, Jenny Xu, Castor Yuan, Grace Tan, and Dawson Deng) participated in the activity. Each member took a few hundred sheets and holepunched them. United, we can defeat COVID-19 one mask at a time!
