On Saturday, August 1st, 2020, members of AYLUS partnered with the Maker Station in creating and fitting face shields. Seven members participated in today’s event.
The face shields were to be packed and delivered to hospitals to supply essential workers with much-needed supplies during the Covid-19 pandemic shortages. Work done by our members included cutting headstraps, fitting foam headpieces and disinfecting and packing the finished products.
