On July 25th, members of the Williamsville branch of AYLUS hosted their 7th reading group meeting for students entering grades 7-10 over ZOOM. Over the course of the week, they created a slideshow, which included key themes and symbols of the novel, Little Fires Everywhere, and an introduction to the next novel, Born a Crime. They’re very proud of how much the attendees have accomplished in the reading group thus far. They also hope that attendees will continue to improve and enhance their English and writing skills over the course of the summer. Williamsville AYLUS will continue to hold weekly reading group meetings.
