On June 27th, members of the Williamsville branch of AYLUS hosted their 1st chess class meeting for students over ZOOM. Throughout this week, they created a slideshow that included chess history, weird facts about the game, the Fork, puzzles, as well as assignments for the attendees to complete, with hopes of helping them improve and enhance their Chess skills over the summer. Then, they played games of chess against one another. The puzzle linked below was the Puzzle of the Day. Williamsville AYLUS will continue holding chess class meetings every week.
