AYLUS Birmingham Branch Picks Blueberries from Local Farm and Raises $250 in a Fundraiser

On June 20th, 2020, members of the Birmingham Branch woke up early to pick blueberries from a local farm. These blueberries were hand packaged and labeled with a thank you note. Then, over 50 pounds of blueberries were sold, raising over $250. Some members drove around the city to deliver these packages due to the quarantine. These funds will go towards the purchase of materials for STEM classes designed for underprivileged children that the Birmingham Branch are planning to host in the fall.
