Starting January 2020, the COVID-19 has become an actual threat to the world, including the United States. Nearly a half million died of it. Many pleas from our hospitals and rescue squads show that the alarming condition of shortage in personal protective equipment, esp. masks while they are thriving to provide medical service and respond to emergency calls within our community.
Twelve AYLUS branches across the country, namely Greater Princeton, San Diego, Phoenix, East Cobb, Sugar Land, Pearland, Missouri City, Greater Lansing, Fairfax, Lake Norman, South Bay, and Columbus, donated over 45,000 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment, including face masks, gloves, disinfectant wipes, medical gowns, face shields, as well as thousands of thank you cards, videos, posters, and “meals from the heart” to hospitals, police, veterans homes, EMS, first aid & rescue squad, and high-risk community veterans, senior living centers, wherever there are urgent needs.
