East Cobb Branch Donate Shield Masks to County Election Office

On Jun 2nd, 2020, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS donated 500 shield masks to Cobb County Election Office for poll workers in the upcoming elections. Currently, poll officers are already facing a shortage of personal protective equipment and there is little equipment available for poll workers. Because of this and the primary early voting starting in a week, our branch has decided to donate shield masks which will help these workers. The shield masks were from Atlanta Beat COVID-19, and assembled by our team members. The frames are 3D printed product, and the lens are industrial level model with higher transparency.

Together we brought shield masks to Cobb County Election Office, director Janine Eveler met us and took those shield masks, she was delighted to receive the equipment, mentioning how it would greatly help with the early voting that was beginning soon. Afterwards, we mentioned how we would be more than willing to continue helping and provide what equipment we could.

Attendance: Nick Vincent (1 hour), Kevin Shen (1 hour), Katherine Sha (1 hour)
