All throughout April, the Sugar Land Branch continued its tutoring project launched late February to assist during widespread quarantines in China caused by COVID-19. One-on-one tutoring helped several Chinese students in English comprehension, pronunciation, and listening. After many weeks of tutoring, these longtime students were now far more fluent in English than before and were much more familiar with Western culture.
The participating members were Albon Wu and Emma Jiang, Serena Li, Sherry Huang and Alice Zhang. Dates: 4/3, 4/4, 4/10, 4/11, 4/17, 4/14, 4/24, 4/25.
