East Cobb Branch Made Cards for Senior Centers on April 11, 2020

AYLUS continues to look for opportunities to make an impact on the local community during this unusual time. East Cobb Branch members Faith Huang, Isabel Liu, Nicholas Vincent, Katherine Sha and Cynthia Ruan handmade over 100 Easter cards for the seniors in the 6 local senior centers wishing them a happy Easter and other good wishes of staying safe and healthy. The cards were colorfully hand-decorated with pretty pictures on the outside of the cards. Each volunteer spent many hours on making over twenty cards  and were delivered by Nicholas Vincent to the Sterling Senior Living and Elmcroft Senior Living centers on 4/11/2020. Susana Huang reached out to the senior centers to set up the card deliveries. AYLUS delivered those cards in total to the Senior Centers. Katherine made a PowerPoint and a video combining each volunteer’s individual videos wishing everyone happy Easter and safety for the senior centers that could not receive handmade cards during this special time. The health care workers who picked up the cards were very appreciative of delivery.  AYLUS is grateful for all the care staff are doing for the communities during this trying time.
