On April 15, the Sugar Land Branch continued to clean and maintain the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden. Although there have been significantly less visitors to the park during this time, the garden’s plants have still been growing relentlessly. In particular, weeds had covered a large portion of the ground’s surface, and there were countless dead branches inhibiting the trees’ growth. After trimming the branches and pulling weeds, the area was much neater and cleaner, allowing the new trees and flowers to blossom in May.
