East Cobb of AYLUS Raised over $1,000 to Help Fight Coronavirus Outbreak

A coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan China has infected many and killed over thousand people in China, according to data released. The spread of the coronavirus is so fast that there have been confirmed cases in the vast majority of Chinese cities, and even many other countries.

AYLUS launched a fundraising campaign through GoFundMe on Jan 28, 2020. The same day, the East Cobb Branch posted the campaign link to its website and, as of Jan 31, 2020, the total fundraising was over $10,000, hitting the campaign goal. The East Cobb branch contributed 10% of the total donations, working together with external groups who were brought together through this campaign.

AYLUS partnered with ACCEF (American Chinese Culture Education Foundation) and AiWeiLai Charity, an NGO from Wuxi, China, to donate 5 Philips WeiKang ST30 non-Invasive ventilators Machine (BiPAP S/T 30 AVAPS Dual Level Non-Invasive Ventilator), which were received in HuBei SuiZhou Central Hospital on February 8th, 2020.
