On December 26th,2019,Edison AYLUS Serviced at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park

After Christmasday, it’s Kwanzaa. Which is an annual celebration of African-American culture held from December 26 to January 1, culminating in gift-giving and a feast of faith, called Karamu Ya Imani. It was created by Maulana Karenga and first celebrated in 1966. Edison AYLUS conducted the community service event at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home on Dec.26th, 2019. Xin Chen and Ruiqi Jiang(Princeton High School) went to the residents’ recreation room with holiday gifts. They sincerely sent New Year gifts and blessings to the seniors. Then They helped the seniors to play Bowling and join the Music Party”All About Kwanzaa”. Finally they transported the seniors back to the four residences wings respectively. The seniors had a pleasant afternoon with their company.
