Gladstone Branch Packed Food at the “Community Food Banks of New Jersey” on November 2nd

Recently, on November 2nd, the Gladstone Branch participated in some community service at the Hillside location of Community Food Bank of New Jersey, which is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization. Its main goal is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by giving food to those in need with the assistance of volunteers, donors, and partners.

The four founders, Travis Xue, Owen Luo, Jenny Xu, and Angela Xu helped pack more than 2000 cans into 250 boxes. They did this for two hours from 9AM to 11AM. They packed organic vegetable and chili cans into boxes. It was great knowing that their contributions will help many people who are in need of a warm, satisfying meal!
