Greater Princeton AYLUS Humanitarian Care Team Volunteered (1st) at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home on September 29, 2019

On September 29th, 2019, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) Humanitarian Care Team went to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home to start a new volunteering project.

GPA Team members went to the Memorial Home with warm greetings and smiles. They walked around the four wings of the residents’ room and TV room, socialized senior friends through talking with the seniors and listening to them carefully, shared with the summer stories and news. 

Before the music party started in the afternoon, GPA members transported the disabled seniors to the town square, and then spent the happy music time with the seniors together. The seniors thanked us for our sincere care and dedication. 

Finally, GPA members transported the seniors back, respectively. As teenagers, they also realize that companionship is one of the most sincere love. Everyone was proud to serve the people served the country.

Time: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm (4 hours for all)
