San Diego Branch organized 21st English for the Elderly activity on September 29th, 2019

On September 29th, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS organized the 21st English for the Elderly activity. The goal of activity is to help elderly men and women from China learn the basics of English so that they’re able to use them in their daily lives.

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 8 elderly men and women common English phrases and sentences. Not only were the “students” able to improve their understanding of and ability to speak the English language, but the volunteers also improved their patience and confidence through this event.

The following students participated in the 21st English for the Elderly activity: NingXin Sun, Jerry Wang, Chengming Li, Chengda Li, Yufei Zhang, Kyne Xie and Jonathan Backues.
