Edison Branch, May 26th, 2019
The AYLUS Edison Branch conducted the event at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home on May 26th, 2019. Prince Hu, Angela Hu, Xin Chen, Qin Zhang and Anmei Deng went to the Veterans Memorial Home and Serviced for the community people. It was the day before Memorial Day, a federal holiday in the United States for remembering and honoring the military personnel who perished while serving in the United States They visited the veterans and gave them gifts, talked about the old stories and nowadays news. The seniors expressed that they don’t want war any more although they are proud of service to the country. They transported the disabled seniors to the town square before the Seniors Music Party started. They interacted with the old people, singing and dancing together. Finally they transported the seniors back respectively. Anmei Deng was responsible for taking pictures during the afternoon.
