On January 21st, MLK day, the Birmingham branch volunteered to pack lunches and write nice letters to the homeless.
Along with other volunteers, we packed over 150 lunches. Each lunch consisted of chips, a sandwich, a letter, and other goodies. We also made about 50 additional sandwiches and wrote 25 additional letters.
After packing the lunches, some members dropped the lunches off to the local Jimmy Hale mission center.
