On January 04, 2019, 9 members of AYLUS East Cobb Branch played ONE hour at Sunrise senior center.
The beginning of the new year meant new pieces for Seniors to enjoy. The one-hour program consisted of many classical pieces such as the Little Fugue in G minor, the Paganini Caprice 14, Happy New Year, the Mozart Sonata in C, the Mozart Violin Concerto, and Happy New Year. The songs were performed in Quartets, as Violin Solos, and as Piano Solos. At the very end of the program, the group sung Happy New Year in Chinese and English 3 times. The atmosphere of the performance was consistently pleasant as many of the elders were always smiling. Following the performance, the Seniors had all wanted to know when we would come back. Knowing that the performance touched the hearts of many made us more than pleased.
