East Cobb Members Participated in Rise Against Hunger

On 8/11/18 Nicholas Vincent and Alex Lunn, members of AYLUS East Cobb Chapter, went to Dunwoody United Methodist Church to help Rise Against Hunger pack over 313,632 meals for underprivileged kids in El Salvador. That was the record for meals packed in one day in Georgia! In order to pack the meals there were tables of four people that each had one job. One person would put a vitamin pack in a bag and hold the bag under a funnel cup where the other three volunteers would put dry vegetables, soybeans, and rice in the bag which would then be handed to people to help ship the meals. After every meal, we would rotate positions so that each person would handle different jobs after every rotation. Nicholas and Alex were there for two hours from 4-6 p.m.
