East Cobb Branch Young Musicians Brought Christmas Music to Seniors

On December 20, 2017, young musicians of East Cobb Branch performed Christmas music at Arbor Terrace Senior Center. Within an hour and a half, many classic Christmas songs were performed such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Deck the Halls, and Feliz Navidad along with many other Christmas carols.
Members who participated were Michael Fu (Violin), Daniel Shu (Violin), Alex (Cello), Eric Yao(Piano), Hiroki Sato(Saxophone/Piano).

On December 21, 2017, they went to Arbor Terrace Senior Center and Sunrise Senior Center. Within three hours, our performers brought holiday spirit to the center, the audiences were singing along with the music. Each volunteer brought their talents and holiday cheers for the audience and was rewarded with smiles and laughter from residents and parents.
Members who participated were Michael Fu (Violin), Daniel Shu (Violin), Jonathan Shu (viola), Gary(Cello), Eric Yao(Piano), Hiroki Sato(Saxophone/Piano).

On December 22, 2017, they also performed at Arbor Terrace Senior Center and Sterling assisted living Center. Within three hours, the musicians presented their Christmas specials. The crowd there were very impressed with the performers’ talent, they asked our young musicians the age, grade, years practicing music instrument. Our performers were very much encouraged by the audiences’ enthusiasm. The music connected everyone together. While the performance brought everyone joys from the hearts, it also carried best wishes to the new year.
