Christopher Yang and Stephen Yang, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS, collected 815 pairs of eyeglasses, 102 eyeglasses accessories, and 12 bottles of eye medications, from July 10 to July 22, 2017. They donated all collected to those in need in Tanzania and Uganda through a charity on July 22, 2017.
Christopher and Stephen have collected a total of 11,638 pairs of eyeglasses, and 1,047 pairs of new lenses, 662 eyeglasses accessories, 1,730 bottles of eye medicaiton, to those in need in Brazil, Cambodia, Honduras, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Tanzania, and Uganda, since they started the Nationwide VISION drive in 2015.
